It’s one of those jokes I can’t comprehend.

I think it came as a dumb off-shoot of no-shave November which was supposed to be about bringing attention to prostate cancer somehow. Which makes no-nut November make less sense since that would mean that everyone is allegedly bringing attention to prostate cancer by potentially putting themselves at risk of getting it since, no joke, it has been medically proven that regular masturbation does help reduce the risk of prostate cancer. I very much doubt taking a month off once a year is actually putting anyone at greater risk, but it’s still kind of funny when you think about it.
 
I should also add that NNN is really more of a joke, and I’m not sure how many people even seriously participate.
