Happy Sancta Lucia day, ya’ll!
Old Scandinavian celebration on the 13th of December, praising Sancta Lucia through the traditional show of young girls carrying candles in a line lead by the “Lucia Bride” wearing a crown of pine and candles.

I just always loved this tradition, has a catchy song to go with it.

This time around I decided to use the danishbronies mascot, Valkyria, for this year’s bride, as she is the popular representation for the Danish branch of bronies. Also her design is cute.
Was at first just another quick daily doodle but then I wanted it to have colours. And ended up getting a bit carried away. Think the result turned out quite agreeable though.
Still rushed it a bit, trying to keep it simple as I needed it up today after all.
