Description:
Another Disney/Equestria Girls comic commission for SeepySteve. The idea, basic panel progression and clothing choice were decided by the commissioner. Aside from the goofily fun premise, I also rather dig the anachronism inherent between Jane’s late Victorian dress and the late Edwardian dresses worn by Rarity and Sweetie-Belle (modeled after a costume from the 1997 Titanic movie ) .
I used a lot of reference for this, but I also had to make the styles mesh together (hopefully I was successful) . For example, the backgrounds are based on a few examples from Disney’s “Tarzan”, but done in the My Little Pony/Equestria Girls style.

Nice how she talks to the pachyderms as equals instead of inferiors. It’s one major reason I enjoy her. She’s of higher classes, yet she treats animals as equals with feelings and minds; including when she said ‘him’ or ‘her’ instead of ‘it’, and when she stop Doctor Phyllander from stealing an egg from a living dinosaur’s nest (espeically when she admit her anger he’d steal from a mother’s nest).
