One is never meant to outshine the other.
 
Before the girls were born, Empress Celestia couldn’t be more ecstatic. She went to great measures to ensure that her pregnancy goes well and that her child’s development went as normal as possible. When she found out that she was expecting twins, she thought it couldn’t get better.
 
Sunset and Twilight were born at nightfall, a night when the moon was at its fullest.  
Upon setting eyes on the skylight, her newborn daughters bundled up and snuggled in her warmth - that was when she knew;  
Nothing could’ve prepared her for the future.
