In my headcannon, Cumin found out about Rarity’s previous sins including the Marer Do Well and Walking Dead pranks. He accuses her of trying to steal his cafe, referencing these events. And compares her to her ancestor who was a colonel responsible for the enslavement of his ancestors (similar to the British Empire conquering India).
