I usually like a lot rule 63’d stallions, but not that much the other way round. Specially with some of the Mane6 like Butterscotch or Elusive. Rainbow Blitz and Dusk Shine are pretty cool tho.

There are many reasons.
There are many reasons.
- It’s overdone and uncreative.
- People only think it’s the cutest ship because no one draw or write Sunset with anyone else.
- I can’t name how many fanfics ship the two. It’s at the point where unless otherwise stated, I just assume it pairs the two. You have a whole cast of characters to pick from, and you use the same one. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. It’s not fun.
- The fans of the ship toxic. This isn’t just one or two bad apples, it’s a whole butch. Back on derpi, flashimmer images were consistently downvoted disproportionately to their quality, making it clear they’re being downvote for the ship.
- I’ve seen so many comments on flashimmer images that don’t have anything to do with the image. Think things like “she belongs with twilight!” and “I don’t like this ship.”. You know, the kinds of things we have forums for?
- Anything the two can do as a couple, they can do as friends with little to no change in story.
I used to like the ship, but due to everything I just loath it now.

No kidding, there are ships I actively despise when I would otherwise just be indifferent to like RariJack, and it’s entirely because of screeching shippers demanding you accept it. >.<
On it’s own, just a dumb ship with no substance to it. Add in the shippers who require you to say the pledge of allegiance to the Rarijack flag else by branded a homophobe and I actually want to get onto the show’s writing staff just so I can definitively kill this ship CheriMac style.

I actually prefer the later seasons over the earlier ones. S1 was alright. S2 was great. S3 was meh, S4 was alright, and it only got better from there.
