It wouldn’t even surprise me.

A question about the usage of editor credit tags. Is there ever a circumstance when an “edit” shouldn’t qualify for an “editor” credit tag?
 
Example: >>3038402 (explicit)  
Unless I’m blind, the linked image is a 1:1 crop from its source; nothing has been changed or added in the remaining image content. Should everybody that chops characters out of screenshots get an editor tag? I’m of the opinion that these don’t qualify for such tags and the “editor” tag should be removed in cases such as raw crops, but I’m looking for some additional input before acting.

Simply cropping isn’t really an edit, and since there has been no changes made whatsoever to the image, the tag does not need to be there.
 
If visible changes have been added, like adding more things to the image, or changing something within the image, you have the option to put your own editor tag.
 
From the image you’ve sent, and compared to the original. It definitely is just a crop.

That’s exactly what I thought. Just wanted to be sure.

Dragon Lord Ember and Princess Ember should be aliased.
 
And Violet Shiver needs to be blued.

Since it looks like this is the suggest-tag-changes-here thread, I gonna suggest two things:
 
Alias: coe -> champions of equestria  
Rename: oc:aurelia coe -> oc:aurelia borealis

I’ve done the first alias, but I’m not sure about the second one, is that the character’s actual name?

I see. Still, the other tag is only used by one image, so I’m not too sure about aliasing it.

Which tag has only one image? Because there is no image tagged “oc:aurelia borealis” at the moment, that is why I suggested the rename.

Coulda sworn oc:aurelia borealis had one image under it. Must have been tired when I made that post.  
But then my point counts especially; why bother renaming it to something like that when people are mostly used to the previous tag?  
It’s not a big change, but I wanna know if it would really matter to change it.

I suggested the rename because I got confused when I went searching for images of that oc and couldn’t find any, even though I knew there are images of her. In the end, I was only able to find images of her because I searched “oc:aurelia” an found a mistagged image and considering the way that the tag editor works, it looks like I’m not the only who got confused.

Sparkler appears to be used as an alternate name for Amethyst Star. If that’s the case, it should be aliased.

Just gonna add that those two tags imply each other on Derpi and Poner, and Sparkler’s aliased to Amethyst Star on Twi.

Thoughts on an alias/implication of “twilight is bae” and “best aunt ever”? Right now people seem to be using either for the same idea (Twilight behaving like a great aunt) depending on the tag they know. I prefer “twilight is bae” because it’s a nice reference to an episode.

Unfortunately bae has another meaning thanks to shitty modern slang. “Best aunt ever” is clearer, the only problem there is it getting used for other characters besides Twilight, if that’s even a problem at all.

That meaning was already around when the episode and the tag first happened. It’s supposed to be a play on words. Plenty of tags are jokey in this way.
