To be fair, from the message i got from one of them, they seem to have choked the life out of said forum before leaving because ‘stability’.  
Said person expressed vague interest here before fucking off from the internet entirely. Not sure where they went.

(Decently guided) speculation: probably the rulefuckery and further-dwindling attention on the site ensuring that whatever was left was all they’d remain to have.  
Either that or, well, lefty twittermites abandoning under pretenses. They DID jump to furbooru from furpibooru, after all.  
I don’t care to read through almost a decade worth of cringe to find the start of whatever the fuck happened, i’d rather commit Heretic, Hero instead.

Okay, look, I got literally one hour of sleep last night, and I just worked a ten hour-shift, but I will try to articulate myself as best I can here.
 
 
The Furbooru RP forums, now that I have had more time to collect my thoughts, are not necessarily bad because of the staff on there. The more I think about it, the more I realize that it’s just the same thing it was on Derpibooru: People who actively refuse to get along with each other, while also actively refusing to stop being around each other at the same time. Furbooru is just a continuation of that. And that is not the staff’s fault.
 
That being said, that forum is still not good, and I do not recommend it.

It’s absolutely the staff’s fault, because the staff’s whole job relating to forums is to keep users who don’t get along with each other apart, by force.

Maybe there is some that they could do. But there is a limit to their power. That limit being trying to enforce this while not reducing the activity of the forums. Basically, by the way it is shaped, the RP forums are doomed from the start. Unless the people in them willingly change.

Taking any activity, no matter how terrible it is, is the narcissistic choice.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that, unless the problem users change of their own accord, there is no feasible way of making that forum actually work.

Ban the problem users, clean up their shit, let actually reasonable people who were previously repelled take their place.
 
But it’s not the option that derpistaff would take, because a: they’re narcissistic and hence are okay with any attention and b: they hate people that they can’t manipulate, which is majority of reasonable people as well.

And since, as we can see, the length of time someone did something does not mean that they will not do it again, someone please tell me the next time someone on Furbooru randomly decides to accuse someone of being my alt account so that I can call him out on his spreading lies about me. The staff won’t fix it, so I’ll have to do something about it myself.

Last night, I was in a particularly bad mood, and I remembered how people on there in the past have roped me into their drama for no reason and the staff did nothing, and asked if someone please tell me if this happens next time.
 
Probably not my best action.

It will occasionally drift into my consciousness when people bring up derpi.

I haven’t ever gone on Furbooru on my new phone. I just went and found someone uploaded a bunch of my stuff. Alright. Oddly it’s all the recent Paw Patrol requests I’ve been doing.

It’s just a way to keep that site barely alive with furry images mostly and a small quantity of pony images. And the forum section is pretty deadass there, with almost no activity or just comments from weeks or months ago.

Furbooru is kinda depressing.  
No one comments, uses the forums, there’s no personality.
