Derpi didn’t stop using it, derpi “rebranded” its patreon page into tsp’s “vector works” while ASKING people to unsubscribe instead of, you know, dropping all subscribers due to changing what the page is. Also hiding the subscriber and donation count.  
Also I remember them claiming they don’t have spare funds to run the servers without patreon, even though by their own claims (25 bucks/day, getting 1100/month on patreon FOR MANY MONTHS BEFORE THAT) they’d have months, and potentially over half a year, of spare funds if TSP wasn’t pocketing them.

Remember how TSP’s One True Love dilatus did financial operations? “This dogtag costs 4 bux, but to buy it you need proof of donating at least 15 bucks to Burn Loot Murder charity”, with no responsibility or even tracking the receipts shown - at least one anon bought (a mistake) several dogtags while using the same receipt as “proof”. He publicly admitted he had exactly fuck-all idea on how much money was actually donated.  
Meanwhile Marenheit, which the same twittermites were being super butthurt about and blatantly revealing their own methods, had immediate, complete receipts, shown where money was going, and has gotten proof of it reaching the destination in the form of Verity.
 
These people literally can’t comprehend not sabotaging themselves with pointlessly convoluted ways to achieve something. So them using derpi funds to support furbooru is actually pretty likely.

and that datte helped run CFAC for years and knows how to handle large amounts of money

Kinda know their changes of donation platforms but didn’t know the donation count is hidden. But how long does it gonna take them to make an announcement that goes “we’re in serious economic issues and have to do something about it”? is it possble they gonna fusion DB and FB once it for all?
 
I imagine a huge failure in the dilarus’ dog tags mouthpieces or not reach the money necessary to whatever the hell charity was aiming.  
Also, any updates related to verity’s condition so far?

Was hidden during the ~rebranding~, I have no idea how it is now and don’t care to find out.  
They’re incapable of admitting fault, and erase posts for mentioning furpibooru merger, so pretty sure they’ll try to surprise people with it.
 
He was estimating like 600 bucks spent total.  
Last time I checked, Verity was doing great and was put up for adoption - some horsefuckers pitched the idea to do so, but don’t think it went anywhere.

21k, the highest grossing MLP artpack by an order of magnitude (one of CFACs, the second position, was like 6k).
 
More accurately, BLM is composed of racists (both anti-white and anti-black), corpo rats, and gullible fools who bought into the idea and are in utter denial about the goals (ft. “mOsTlYpEaCeFuLpRoTeStS”. I would like to remind those people that one bad apple spoils the bushel, especially if whenever anyone points out that there are rotten apples, your reaction isn’t taking them out, it’s screeching that they’re totally not rotten). The movement as a whole never fought for a good cause, it was gibs instead of, say, demolishing ghettos and making education free, mandatory and purging it of shit like common core, from the get-go.

Dead activity in general I assume, where there’s more sites that can host mlp/furry together and have more activity.

They need to bring something new to the table. And a community is not a selling point. That would be like if Netflix tried to convince people to buy their service because they have a good support team. That’s not a selling point. While it is true that if you do not have it people will leave, they will not come in the first place if you do not offer more first.

They can’t, that’s the joke. Absolutely none of the idiots who try to “expand” into furry or abandon pony realize it. The furry market is already saturated - there is no demand for more furry sites or artwork - and people will use whatever they’re used to (which means FA and e621) even if “”“better””” alternatives are available.  
Also, technically community would be a selling point, because tagging is community-driven, without tag autists even Derpi’s tag system is worthless (and derpi itself is having a deficit of said tag autists by now).  
But furbooru doesn’t have a community, it doesn’t even have the toxic shit-flingers that derpistaff praise so much because it’s too boring and empty for them. It’s not attractive for artists, the furry community’s clout is already concentrated on other sites, and it can’t occupy a convenient power vacuum like derpibooru had.  
Ironically, attempting to force more recognition by merging the boards into furpibooru will spell doom for both.

i tried using that site a while back thinking it’d be a good place to post the furry art i wanted to branch out into, since e621’s asinine tagging system makes that option fairly uninviting, and it’s impossible to gain any recognition on just furaffinity alone
 
i think i got like 4 downvotes and no upvotes (at least for a while) on the first and last thing i uploaded, despite it being a completely benign, utterly mediocre drawing at worst  
(also keep in mind this is when the website was brand new and there was hardly anyone there)

There’s this “artist” who had a huge amount of grudge and fights with ppl in Derpi, mainly because he stole/trace art and doesn’t respond to anything negative or the truth about his art style. And now it’s posting his art with no issue in Furbooru…
 
No wonder why mlpol always make fun of him because his art, hateful comments or his embarrassing posts that lacks of self awareness of real life.
