I’ll start with this did you know that in gen 1 of Pokemon Critical Hits based on Pokemon’s base speed stat. The Formula was this (Pokemon base speed * 100/512) meaning the every Pokemon had a different percent chance of getting a critical hit.

I’m still mad to some extent about the rushing of Pokemon Sword and Shield and the Dex cut. I mean, REALLY? WHY? If you could fit all of the Pokemon for SUN/MOON into a 3DS cartridge, why can’t you fucking fit even more Pokemon into the game cards for a Newer system that not only is more powerful than both the Wii and Wii U, but also the Xbox 360 and in some cases, even the PS3!?

Yeah my thoughts exactly one of the reason I didn’t get the game as it cut some of my favorite Pokemon from it. Not mention some useful moves of the game like Return, Frustration, and Hidden Power.

Speaking of Hidden Power did you know that the Pokemon Slowking, Meditie, and Medicham learn move naturally though level up. Also did you know that Buneary learns Frustration though level up* and Lopunny get learns Return though level up*.
 

I’ve been chipping away at Sacred Gold/Storm Silver. It’s a romhack that ups the difficulty, makes a lot more pokemon available and is basically a better sandbox than the original games.
 
I’m also running an all-steel team and messing with egg moves just to make things more complicated than it needs to be.

Sigh I wish the Game Corner in the Game wouldn’t default to 50 coin option when buying coins.

Nice! I’ve seen people playing that and thought it was cool.

Fun Fact: In gen one the Normal-type move Super Fang could hit Ghost-type Pokemon.

Fun Fact: In gen 1 and 2 the way EV’s were gained was based on Pokemon you battled Base Stats. Also that max number in gen 1 and 2 was 65535 cap for all stats instead of what is now which is 252 for one stat in the newer games.

Is the DLC for sword and shield worth it? I have shield, but I was kinda unimpressed by it.

I my opinion yes but that up too you. It depends on whether or not you want to Pokemon involved with the DLC. It has Pokemon like Buneary, Glarian Slowpoke, Glarain Slowbro, as well as the new Pokemon Kubfu which exclusive to the DLC. As well as being able to Gigantamax your stater Pokemon.

I’ll probably end up getting it. Not like anything else is coming out.

I found a Shiny Roselia a few days ago but didn’t catch it since I already have 2 shiny Roserades already in Diamond.

That’s good I hear that there’s going to be another DLC coming out eventually as well which is rumored too have 100+ more Pokemon in it . I don’t actually have Pokemon Sword or Shield but my Sister does.

I hatched about 800 eggs to get my shiny Galarian ponyta, and I got my shiny gardevior in pearl.

My sister took over 600+ eggs to get a Shiny Minccino in her Sword version and got luck and got a Shiny Sentret in Moon when she was breeding to get a better Furret. For me I chained for a week to get a Shiny Ralts Omega Ruby and another week to get a second one as well. I also chained like 200+ Riolu in and attempt to get Lucario in Sun and wound up with 2 shiny Riolu and a Shiny Chansey.

I still remember almost catching a shiny gulpin in alpha sapphire during a hoard battle. I never knew what true despair was I accidentally used bulldoze. :(

I remember find a Shiny Gulpin in a hoard battle in Pokemon X. In Pokemon Omega Ruby find Shiny Minun randomly on the DEX NAV and then next day finding Trubbish and the next day finding Plusle.

Jeez, do you actively hunt them or are you just the luckiest individual on the planet? Either way, that’s an impressive amount of shiny pokemon.
 
For me, I just use the masuda method. Trying to get a shiny zorua in shield. Not having luck

For Plusle I was hunting it since I had Minun and found the Trubbish by mistake. Omega Ruby has the most encounters with Shines since I like to use the DEX NAV for training. I remember finding shiny Zorua in Omega Ruby.
 
I don’t actively hunt them. I’m just lucky I guess. I actively hunt for them if it one I really want. I’ve haven’t use that method yet.

The masuda? All you need it the pokemon you want a shiny of and a ditto (or the same pokemon) in a different language (like japan, italy, germany) and put them in the daycare. Then get hatching. It reduces the odds to about 1/683 even less with the shiny charm.

I remember one time wonder trading something in Omega Ruby and getting a Shiny Eevee and freaked out when that happened.
 
I know of the method I just haven’t used it yet to get a shiny. In Pokemon Sun and Ultra Moon I literately can’t since my boxes are filled all the way up. My sister using it in Pokemon Sword in attempt to get a Shiny Snom.

Oh sorry I miss-read your post. I remember getting shinys during wonder trades, but I was always worried they were hacked.

I remember looking at the Eevee and she had her Hidden Ability plus a move tutor move and Egg Moves.
 
Yeah that very true. I got a couple shines that might be hacked. The one I know is hacked is a Shiny Genesect I got from a wonder trade and possibly this Shiny Shaymin I got from wonder trade in Ultra-Sun.

I actually remember there were youtube channels dedicated to giving out hacked shiny pokemon. I guess they’re nice to look at, but not use.

Yup nice to look at and use in-game but not on-line. Since I’d could be banned for hacking (even though I’m not one doing it) potentially which is something I’m not going to do. I’ve never participated in any on-line battling or went GTS at all since I only like wonder trading.
