Hot Cross Buns is everything one would expect to come out of the combination of party ponies Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich. This 19 year old Earth Pony is full of laughs, smiles, and just wants to see those around her having a good time.
 
The middle child out of three siblings, Buns gets along very well with all of her family members - her older sister, Peekaboo, and cousin, Amber, especially. Hot Cross Buns idolizes her mother, and as a filly was almost always seen attached to her side in the kitchen, often getting caught under her feet…Which may have caused a few spills here and there. This is most likely the reason why she decided to pursue a culinary career.
 
Hot Cross Buns loves everyone and everything - it’s no surprise to anyone when they learn she’s Pansexual. Buns is smitten incredibly easily - whether it was the handsome-sounding voice coming from the other end of the store ordering cupcakes from her mother, or the pretty mare who sat in front of her during Amber’s modeling show in Manehattan. A bit of a hopeless romantic, though, more often than not falling for someone unavailable or uninterested. It doesn’t get her down too much, she knows her special someone is put there somewhere.
 
As happy as this round and cuddly mare can be, she also represents the Sin of Wrath. If something doesn’t quite go how she planned, it’s tough to calm her down after the fact. She’s prone to mood swings, usually leaving her red in the face and bottled up in her bedroom until she can calm down. She doesn’t like when ponies see her in such a state, so she keeps this side of her hidden from others as best she can.
