Morning Glory is my next gen OC daughter of Celestia and Twilight Sparkle. She is a princess, but would rather not have the responsibility. She would rather read and study - like a certain mother of hers - than learn what she perceives to be “impractical things” like etiquette and politics.
 
However, she is not averse to making friends. As a matter of fact, Glory’s best friend (and eventual wife) is Firecracker Blitz, a sporty pegasus who formed an unlikely friendship with Glory when Blitz approached her for help with her schoolwork. (of course, it’s not so “unlikely” considering that two of their parents are part of the Mane Six! )
