Description
Twilight and Stygian hadn’t seen each other since the Pony of Shadows incident. Since that time, Stygian had become a multi-time bestselling author with his semi-autobiographical novel series “Me and My Shadow”. Twilight had been captivated with the books since the first page, and when she heard Stygian was doing a book signing in Canterlot, she couldn’t resist the opportunity. Naturally, Stygian was more than happy to see Twilight again, having always felt grateful to her for the role she played in freeing him from the darkness that consumed him for so long. So grateful, in fact, that when the book signing was over, he brazenly asked her out for a cup of coffee.
As the two got to talking, Twilight and Stygian discovered they had a lot in common - beyond their shared thirst for knowledge, of course - and each of them could be just as socially awkward as the other. Right before Twilight boarded the train back to Ponyville, Stygian took even more initiative and asked Twilight out on a real date. Twilight had such a fun time talking with Stygian earlier that afternoon that she gladly said yes, and a royal romance had begun.
