-second-born son of Cadence and emperor consort Shining Armor. If Flurry is the heir then he is the spare.  
-an excellent spellcaster, but doesn’t really utilize his skills and talents. He studied with Twilight as a foal and teenager, but stopped going to classes when the lessons actually started being hard for him to do on the first try.  
-His special talent is writing love poetry, something he is very proud of. He idolizes his uncle, Blueblood, and thinks his talent gives him the predisposition to sleep around a woo stallions like his uncle (blueblood is bi)  
-Sonnet is a DOUCHE! he makes a hobby out of wining the hearts of highborn stallions and then leaving when he gets bored. He writes raunchy and deeply objectifying novels under a pen name and uses the royalties to fund his many vacations away from his responsibilities.  
-if sonnet shine wasn’t such a stinky asshole hed be very charming and suave, but sadly he wastes his skills and positive traits on selfish wants and desires. he is a true garbage hedonist instead of a cool and sexy one.
