Guest Author’s Note: “Magic projectiles (flame, acid, et al) aside, there are all kinds of threats best dealt with by different kinds of armor. Chain mail is of little use against crushing underwater pressure or deep space vacuum, while a low-end diving or space suit is vulnerable to swords. And then, as demonstrated here, appropriate garb can reduce or eliminate certain social threats. As many a diplomancer can attest, several challenges can be utterly defeated without rolling initiative if approached in the right way, using the right gear. For instance, Pinkie’s dress here includes actual candy, possibly enough to give her a sugar high beyond her normal levels.  
 
With that mental image, we conclude these lessons for now.”  

Lesson: Blades & arrows are not the only thing there is armor for. Dress for the threat.
