Description: The earlier magical energy weapons lacked their own power source. As such they relied on their own external power source: unicorn magic. The strength of the laser comes from a magnification of the unicorn’s magical frequency through a specifically designed gem crystal. However, all of this experimental the errors in the design have had yet to be worked out. This comes in the form of radically changing firing patterns, ranges, and even damage. These early magical energy weapons have their own unique set backs on top of this, a bright flash of light, strong bitter smell and taste of ozone, among others. The only advantage is that the Zebras would be unable to fire them, supposedly.
