In the time before Equestria became a fully fledged pony utopia, ancient Nations and regions ruled the lands. One of the strongest of these was one of the three princes, Golden Roma…the embodiment of Rome. His wealth and power were very well known as he wrote many magic scrolls that define the modern era, and his wealth spread and expanded to become what we know today as Italy. There were few who could contest his power, the other two princes being the only ones who rivaled him for control of olden ponies.
In one fortnight…….Rome’s power fell, and he gave his strengths to his two grandsons and “Holy Roma”……and with his last breath he became one with the stars, his body sparkling away in the night sky.
