thats pretty neat of you to say that considering you are one. but i have some quastions like what does it mean to be senior mod, does that means you have more authority then mods? or its its just means you been really fucking long here and to show something for it they just added adjective to your title. and how does it compare to actually administrators, and do they even exist? where is the owner i havnt seen him once and ive been active for entire year, and why do artists always active on derpi but not here…. I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!

i also saw that 4chan attampted to lewd this pony above me but entire 4chan just started spanning aryanne holding a sub machine gun saying “how compelling, please face the wall” which is the kind of wholesome stuff id like to see here time to time.
 
and i was always and advocate for free speech really becouse in the grand scheme of things this is just porn cartoon that people get worked up about and there entire argument can be dubunked simply with “use your filters dumbass” although i do have to admit in a way mods are obliged to instruct people on how to navigate filter options in the first place.

Worth correcting, the donations were raised for an artpack organized over on 4chan, not just ponybooru by any stretch. The artpack was done in the name of free expression after the derpibooru drama and them trying to censor shit like Aryanne. It ended up raising a rather incredible sum of money which went to a Horse rescue, and Verity was one of the horses who ended up being rescued during the donation drive, and kinda became the art packs ‘benefactor’ to some extent.
 
The total raised was just over $20,000 USD - thanks in large part to a few particularly deep pocketed anons, but the pack ended up receiving hundreds of individual donations.

No payment is necessary (and never was), the pack was always ‘pay what you want’ and still managed to absolutely crush any previous charity art pack the MLP community ever did, including the ENTIRE run of Clop for a Cause in terms of how much it raised.
 
Just goes to show, freedom of expression really is something people care very deeply for in this community at large, and the screeching harpies that shit up twitter and bitch the loudest really are a minority. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that a community that thrives on free expression by artists, writers, musicians etc creating fan works would end up backing something like this so much, despite it having an evil ‘nazi horse’ as its main subject.
