Emerald Crown is a 31 year old earth pony gem-cutter who lives and works in Canterlot City in the artist’s quarter. Known as a mare that values the absolute perfection of her craft, she is known to produce some of the finest cut gemstones in the city, and has even picked up a Royal contract from Princess Luna herself.
It is noted that Emerald, or just Emmie to her friends, comes from a long line of arable farmers, and that she is proud of her heritage as an earth pony. She is very close to her large family, and visits regularly to keep tabs on her loved ones- especially her beloved nieces and nephews, who she spoils rotten!
Physically, Emerald is of good general health, and is a little above average in height for a regular earth pony. She exhibits no disabilities or long term illness, and rarely gets ill. As an aside, Emerald does love to drink alcohol, especially sweet white wines. However, this is never to excess, as she is all too aware of the pitfalls of alcohol.
Emerald Crown is not her original name- and it is one she took on when she discovered her talent for gem cutting via a school field trip of all things. Her given name is Summer Breeze. Additionally, she has a pet blue budgie called Oscar, a friendly and sociable little guy that loves to be around Emmie while she is working.
When it comes to more personal matters, Emmie is bisexual, and has a bit of a predilection towards pegasi in general, though is willing to step outside of her comfort zone for the right partner. She is not the most physically affectionate of mares, but this is just how she is, and not a rejection of a partner.
