||So I read Foe: Ouroboros, it has a rocky start with too much exposition and technical details but both get handled better as the story progresses.

I felt it improved by chapter 3 to be something I wouldn’t mind reading, a pleasant experience by chapter 5, with the author getting to a point where everything (plot, character interaction, etc) is in balance and not overused by chapter 9.

I liked how the author used different materials for the buildings of the major settlements so far although the first two had so little in common I felt it was jarring I have grown to like them as the story progresses. The story does reference other sidefics from time to time but these references are kept short and don’t overstay their welcome.

The characters do change over the course of the story, taking at least a chapter so it dosen’t feel rushed. The sex scenes do feel forced untill chapter 9 or so however. They also get equipment and allies without much trouble, a few of these have come to bite them in the rear so I am going to give the story a pass on this for now.

Overall the author has improved and gotten into a great spot, any further chapters released will be something I look forward to read.||
