BACKGROUND & PERSONALITY  
 
 
Estella is a one track minded, straightforward, klutzy, and quirky little filly. She’s not the best when it comes to attention span and booksmarts because she has ADHD (due to her horn messing with her head). However, that’s not to say she’s not talented or intelligent in whatever she puts her mind to. She can be a very friendly and sociable filly and will find ways to befriend you, whether she annoys you or not. However, she can be fairly snappy as she won’t let anypony walk all over her and bully her. But that’s not to say she’s entirely thick-skinned. Around others she’s strong, but alone she broods about her imperfections and the humiliation that she continues to hold onto about her horn and the ever stressful role of being the daughter and the heir of a powerful and admirable Queen. She believes if she wasn’t a princess or even an alicorn, she would be more appreciated by society. So she tries to ignore that reality. This negative side of her gives her a lack of self-esteem, pessimism and no hope for her future. The poor filly is lost, but I believe her biggest revelation will be her fixing these problems during her future development.

When she was five, she was brought to Magic Kindergarten… and oh boy. Did she NOT like this experience of being the only pony in her class not passing… FOR TWO YEARS! Then you had the bullies… geez. Brightmoon Bliss (Moondancer’s daughter) was one of these little brats, though still held a spot as Estella’s ‘friend’ when around their parents, thus making Bliss her frenemy. However, to balance things out, she had the notorious Polaris Star (Trixie’s son) and Aurora (Luna’s daughter)… but mainly Polaris. But regardless, she hated magic school and everything that came with it (even after Twilight put her in a class of disabled unicorns so Estey wouldn’t feel left out); Estella was not having it.  
 
 
Once Twilight figured that Estella wasn’t much into magic, she decided to take her to her School of Friendship. Twilight planned on moving back to her own castle anyways, to gradually build a bigger town, and eventually kingdom for Ponyville. Sure Estella was thrilled to get away from all of that rinky-dink magic school, but she wasn’t ready to abandon Polaris or her royal family (especially Aurora). However, Twilight promised Estey that they would visit Canterlot every month, but that soon became an unreasonable task. Estey and Polaris became penpals anyways.  
 
Here, in Twilight’s school is where she would meet, Lightning Bolt first, Valentine second, and Rocky Road third. Nopony here really bullied her, or even saw her as a royal pony of status either. They treated her like a normal pony, everything she ever wanted. I mean, Lightning teases her, but it’s only just joking and they don’t mean no harm. Estey after a while learned how to tolerate it, plus at least Lightning was more caring than that deadbeat Brightmoon.  
 
 
Now, this brings us to the present, where Estey is delusional of being a princess and partakes in casual everyday pony life. She has a part-time day job at Sugarcube Corner, due to Rocky’s constant begging to work there…Though at same time wants her fired because she loves to binge eat the customers FOOD. Honestly, as much as Rocky with his deadpan self doesn’t want to admit it, he just wanted her there to be with him. Also she enjoys going to free Wonderbolt competitions with Lightning and helping out with the plethora of scale babies Valentine has (though she’s utterly terrified of a few… snakes).  
 
 
 
RELATIONSHIPS  
 
 
☆Twilight Sparkle: When she was younger, she couldn’t live without her mother. Separation anxiety is what she had… but now, Estella has grown up and doesn’t want to have anything to do with her mom. Not because she doesn’t love her or is going through her “teenage phase”. Currently, Estella is dealing with personal conflicts with herself, about her imperfections and not being a powerful and stable alicorn like her mom. If anything, when she’s around her mom, all she’s reminded of is how she’s not “this” and or “that”. She’s also reminded of future duties and expectations to come that she’ll have to live up to, being the heir and all. Basically, Twilight is Estella’s reminder to her unfair reality.  
 
Twilight tries to encourage her, and allows her to be free. But also simultaneously hopes that she’ll grow out of this, accept herself for who she truly is and find confidence in that. Twilight’s not telling Estella to be “Twilight”, she’s trying to tell her to find self-acceptance and self-love so she can strengthen herself further and find her true self.  
 
 
☆Flash Sentry (Deceased): Sadly, doesn’t know much about him. Only the fact that he’s her dad, was a Commander for the Crystal Empire, and had passed due to an unexpected raid at the Crystal Empire. After Twilight and Flash got a divorce, the memory of her dad was bleek. Because of this divorce, Flash and Twi weren’t all too concerned with seeing each other that much. Now there was an instance that she remembered when she visited the Crystal Empire for the Crystal Fair when she was 10… but unfortunately that’s it (other than when she visited him when she was three). Perhaps there might’ve been a few 2 day trips thrown in here and there, but regardless, she just didn’t have the greatest connection with him. She loves him, respects him, honors him, and did cry at his funeral, but only did because she never got to know him and was miserable that she missed the opportunity.  
 
 
☆Fizzle Pop Berry Twist: Estella finds Fizzle as a better mom to talk to when it comes to being a disable unicorn. And if I’m being honest, she prefers to hang out with Tempest more than Twilight, for the reasons I said above. Besides, Fizzle is one of her personal guards, so she has had plenty of time with her.  
 
 
☆Dawn Light: She doesn’t have a strong connection with him either unfortunately. Long distance can be hard, and after her childhood, meeting him was becoming more and more infrequent. Then after their dad passed, Dawn unfortunately seemed to lose his connection with his family back in Ponyville (like Twilight and Estella). Twilight does encourage her to continue sending letters to him, but he never responds. But as a sister, Estey will still proceed to love her brother.  
 
 
☆ Bright Galaxy: Her little half-brother that doesn’t give two sh!ts about her older sister’s existence. His nose is constantly in some book, lounging in the library somewhere. In fact, Estey forgets that he exists as well, he’s just such a quiet presence. However, she can clearly remember when he would single up under her wing when he was younger.  
 
 
☆ Polaris Star: A childhood best friend that later on becomes a CLOWN. No but seriously though. But more specifically a jester….“At least he’s hot,” Estella adds. Recently, Polaris has been hard to keep in communication with, because of all of the traveling circus shenanigans he has going for him. All in all, they’re still penpals, and will meet in person occasionally. Estey deems Polaris as one of the most chaotic ponies she’s ever met (not including Celestia’s kids), with his illusions and sleight of hooves. Even though Estella may have a little crush on him, she still sees him as a big brother from another mother. Same goes for Polaris. He views Estey as his therapy and comfort, due to wild things happening in his life.  
 
 
☆Lightning Bolt: The first one to always come zooming into her dms. But besides Lightning being stupid in love with Estey (and will constantly whisper senpai or waifu under their breath), they are a friend that Estella can escape her reality with. Other than Wonderbolt competitions, Lightning likes to take Estella absolutely EVERYWHERE. “I can show you the world%,” Lightning says. Anyways, Lightning loves to spoil their princess by gifting her with hundreds of souvenirs and pictures from far and beyond. They love to make Estey distracted from her flaws and priorities, and they want to keep her happy. Sure, Estella can be a bit overwhelmed by the fast traveling and the speedy nature of Lightning in general. But at the end of the day, Estella is grateful to have a thoughtful and entertaining friend that keeps her in the fantasy of a normal life.  
 
 
☆Valentine: Besides Estella having a fear of snakes, Estella views Valentine as a unique friend to fellowship with. Valentine may not be as adventurous as Lightning or as magical as Polaris, but she does have some “interesting” attributes to say the least. Her reptilian and amphibian hut is a sight to see, though Estey isn’t a scaly buff, to be frank she still finds it fascinating. But solely because Val manages to fit so much in one room. Valentine has a hundred intriguing things to say about her scaly friends and lovecraftian novels, and Estella will happily sit there for hours just listening to her babble non-stop. Regardless, Val is a sweet and enthralling friend and will welcome Estey in her hut to chat with anytime.  
 
 
☆Rocky Road: Aside from the part-time job, she and Rocky love to lounge around and munch on some sweet and savory chex mix. Though Estey has her other friends, I feel like she prefers to share her deepest darkest secrets with Rocky, and he does the same. They are closer than the two may think, and may find each other sharing a single brain cell. The two have the same pessimistic and dark sense of humor, a big sweet tooth, finish each other’s sentences, and frequently crush on random ponies they meet (maybe even the same ponies). Basically, they’re pretty much inseparable and have a fond liking for each other. (One or the other may or may not peck each other one the cheek when they’re feeling discouraged).  
 
 
EXTRA  
 
 
☆She hated her horn so much that she ended up breaking it. This incident resulted in brain damage (which gives her frequent migraines, slowness and forgetfulness), and blurred vision. Poor girl.  
 
 
☆Is now farsighted and refuses to wear glasses.  
 
 
☆ Known for her beautiful bright blue eyes. Some may or may not become captivated by them.
