This site actually has several 100k more images than Derpibooru now. It just took them a while to back up everything from Derpi, which they continue to do. In other words, there is literally no reason to go to Derpi at all since everything there ends up here, so long as you’re intelligent enough to use filters.

These two freaks caused so much damage to derpibooru and in the end one just left and the other was banned. And what did derpibooru get in the end? A loss of their monopoly on the booru and a list of DNPs from artists against censorship.
 
That why you don’t negotiate with these things. You eliminate their kind. They only exist to cause trouble and they only exist because we allow it.

If they stuck with their guns as a archiver website and didn’t bother picking a hill to die on, They wouldn’t be cancelled. It would be that whole situation when tumblr decided to wage war at 4chan. The drama would die off within a few days because we all knows these people can’t survive without censorship and a large platform to protect them. However, they decided to cave into the demand of Twitter and looked were they are now. I don’t remember the last time I visited that platform after integrating to Ponybooru. Their like no reasons at all other then it having a large user base and shitty mods.
