That episode was heavy for MLP. While clearly understandable (it’s written everywhere that you SHOULD suffer bullying or at the very least meet bullies in your early life), I couldn’t like Babs any bit. The way she literally turned her back on the CMC (who get epically screwed almost every episode they appear) made me hate her, even though she redeemed herself and AJ revealed she suffered bullying back home.  
Maybe this is more personal, as it doesn’t help that 1) I’m not a forgiving person, 2) she’s daughter to AJ’s horrid relatives the Oranges, whose loyalty apparently belongs to those who hold power and money to burn. Could be different, but I guess her personality didn’t appeal to me at all.
