Okay, so, this is the first demo release of my fan-game; PonyMon.
I’m quite anxious about this release honestly, but there’s no sense in delaying it as I’m already developed the code further than what it is in this 0.1 version.
But yeah, the controls in the menus/battle process are a little iffy (there’s this bug that if you spam ‘A’ in the battlescreen, the game continues to fight several turns on its own), but it should run fine overall.
I just managed to scrape together sprites for the two bosses there is, so you should distinguish them from the masses of Carrot Tops. :P
I’m not sure how well this represents what the game will become in later versions, but probably it’ll evolve a lot, though not straying far from the pokemon mechanics.
A successful playthrough will take about 15-20 mins, and if you die… since there’s no save, death = restart. Be careful not to die accidentally.
