I wish people had not been so babby butthurt over Flash Sentry and that the writers had not backed down from him out of cowardice. We never even got a chance to know Pony Flash, and it pains me to know what an interesting character dynamic he could have had (with Shining Armor especially, since he would be both his captain and brother-in-law).
The big argument I’ve heard against giving Flash more screentime is that he was a bland, boring non-entity who’s existence was only in service to be an element of Twilight’s character growth. But when people say that, they tend to forget that they’re talking about EQG Flash…and you know, forget that this description applies to every damn EQG character apart from baconhair.

Yeah, flash straight up never had a chance.
People do seem to be treating him like they treated Flash when he stole their waifus.
