No Different

The album I’m doing all this art for is The Pink Side of the Moon, and it tells a theoretical story about Pinkie going to the moon (self-banishing, it seems.) It’s a fun idea and the way that 4everfreebrony made the music come together to tell the story was cool. So in doing the separate paintings for each individual song, it’s been fun to try different styles and all-in-all tell the story.

This picture isn’t so much for a song as for one of the audio bits, narrated, that help tell the tale. But it was still beautifully done. XD I’m not being paid to make pictures for the audio bits, but I just felt they were worth a painting in their own right, so I did this one. :) Here, Pinkie has just arrived at the moon (that’s her crash-landed craft in the background.) I had fun painting it with my pencil brush setting, playing with the tones and whatnot.
 
Anyhoo, this is a roundabout saying that you’ll still have a bunch of space/Pinkie themed paintings coming up. XD 6 more to be precise, counting the audio bit ones. Fun stuff! And then there’ll be some other spacey/MLP paintings, but of a different kind… ;)
