Description:

When I was a little girl, and my Nana was alive, she used to tell me a story (That she probably made up herself) about a tricorn, a special type of unicorn with three magic horns. This tricorn lived in a huge forest on the borders of a little town. The town had a kind king (No idea why a little town would be run in the same way a kingdom would be, but I was little.. So I guess she just said it to sound magical, right? xD) and the king had a greedy, mean wife.
The tricorn’s three horns were suposedly each magic. The largest holding the key to immortality, the medium sized horn holding the key to eternal health, and the smallest holding the key to mastering magic.
According to my Nana, the evil queen heard about the tricorn, and sent the kind king’s subjects to track it down, kill it and take it’s horns, so she could rule forever. In return, she would pay them a huge amount of money, and as the town was in serious debt, and many of the people were poor and starving, a lot of townsfolk set out to seek the tricorn. The rest of the story gets a bit fuzzy, as it’s absolutely ages old. But apparently someone succeeded in hunting it down, and stole the tricorn’s largest horn. The tricorn had been visiting the town for centuries, and secretly healing the sick and seeing that the flowers bloomed and stuff, and because the Tricorn was so shamed, and felt so betrayed by the queen and townsfolk, she cursed the town using the rest of her magic and then died.

WOW. MY CHILDHOOD WAS MESSED UP.

I just felt like drawing the Tricorn in MLP style, and I wanted to write down the story before I forgot even more of it, seeing as my Nana isn’t here anymore, so it’s not like I can ask her anymore. xD
