Look at all that purple and pink! I had fun with this design.  
Fairy looks very similar to her mother. I’ll be sure to maybe draw Clear Skies in my style sometime in the future…I’ll probably forget but feel free to harass me about this if you’re interested.

Unlike her defiant and rebellious sister, Fairy Floss has always been a bit a bossy rule follower.  
She immediately respects those with authority and has quite the shiny moral compass. Unfortunately these traits didn’t endear her peers and she was teased quite a lot. She never really made friends in her early years as such, she spent a lot of time with her parents.
 
Her biggest joys in life are anything related to spirituality. She can sense energy and loves her various gems and stones. After her mother died, Flossie began making these beautiful orange lanterns and taking them to local cemeteries to put on the graves. Thus, she began spending more time in graveyards, not helping her reputation. Her mother was cremated and Flossie keeps her ashes in a large rose quartz gem that was hollowed out. It sits on her nightstand now.  
Once her family moved to Sweet Apple Acres, she began spending most of her time at the graves of Bright Mac and Pear Butter. This oddly caused the Apple Siblings to think fondly of her. She likes to bring arts and crafts out to the gravesite and she stays there for hours drawing and talking to the stones.
 
Flossie is an odd kid but she’s also deeply optimistic and kind. Even though she spends more time with the dead, she’s been able to get her cutie mark and make friends in Ponyville.
