Twilight Sparkle is my favorite pony (though Fluttershy is a close second for me). She provides proof that a scientific and sagely learning does not prevent anypony from experiencing magic in all of its myriad forms. Her studies into friendship reveal the magic found in daily life. This nerdy pony shows that smarts and savvy makes the world at least 20% cooler.

Yeah, so I felt like trying out Paint Tool Sai. I have used Photoshop in the past for all my painting. I downloaded Paint Tool Sai two nights ago… and this is the result of my learning how to use that program. Ye Godz, I love it’s brush finesse programming, this is the tool that probably feels the most natural to paint with that I’ve tried so far. The pen tool kindly ignores extraneous muscle-twitch and heart-beat jitters that most other programs mindlessly and faithfully reproduce. It’s so nice to be able just to drop the pen and sweep a line as though I were doing it on paper! I did go into photoshop to add some razzle-dazzle to the text that I painted in Sai.
