This piece I decided to color completely with Photoshop, because my iPad was acting up today. I love that I got to draw Flurry Heart again, as well as tackle a new character I haven’t drawn before now. Shining Armor is a great character, and I love that since Season 6 he’s gotten a lot more in the way of personality and character moments. He’s a fine role model, strong, protective, confident, and a caring brother, husband, and father, but at the same time he can be a big goof-ball and tire himself out with panic or stress.
 
In this case, Flurry Heart has taken a lot of energy out of him with her shenanigans, and he just has to take a breather. Don’t let that innocent look fool you! I love how I got her hair to look with the gradation of colors. The background is pretty simple, but that’s okay. All you really need are these two adorable goofs.
 
I also love that I got to have this idea so early! Now I can enjoy the rest of the day with no worry or regret that I’m procrastinating!
