And here is the big herd! You voted that you wanted to see Fluttershy’s family, so here they are!

Fluttershy and Zecora
 
After Fluttershy accidentally caused Zecora to get extremely sick, she became rather obsessed with keeping the zebra safe. At first she thought it was out of guilt but quickly recognized that some of the emotions she felt were more amorous in nature. Zecora also felt a closeness to the yellow pegasus as they began connecting over their shared interest in foraging. They began spending hours together and made excuses to see each other. Eventually Zecora was discussing how zebra tend to come together as a herd. Fluttershy accidentally slipped that she’d love to be in a herd with Zecora….and there it was. The two confessed their feelings for each other and decided to join together.  
They thought that maybe one day they’d find others but they were happy together. They loved each other and there was no rush to add to perfection.
 
 
Fen Hua
 
Quiet but feisty, Fen Hua is the third member of Fluttershy’s herd.
 
Fenny is one of the Kirin Fluttershy met when the map brought her and AJ to the Eastern section of Equestria. Fluttershy will admit that she was so focussed on the task at hand that she didn’t notice the jade haired Kirin who seemed deeply interested in her. Fen thought Fluttershy was beautiful and amazing as she’d never seen a pegasus before. However it was Fluttershy’s compassion to animals that caught her heart. Fen loves birds and so naturally she was drawn to the bird-like animal caregiver. She followed Autumn Blaze to Equestria, particularly Canterlot and while Autumn knew how to speak Equish [English] from books and magazines she picked up, Fen only spoke Kandirin [Manderin]. This along with the general snobbery of the golden city began to make Fen feel a little isolated in Canterlot. She met Zecora and Fluttershy at The Grand Galloping Gala and then fell for Zecora too.  
Autumn introduced them and mentioned that Fen loved birds. Fluttershy was ecstatic at this news and asked if Fen wanted to work at her sanctuary. Fen happily accepted and Autumn dropped a few hints to Fluttershy that Fen may have some feelings for her.
 
In the end she stayed at the sanctuary and grew close to Zecora and Fluttershy. After Flutters and Zecora learned some Kandirin and Fen learnt Equish, the three decided to become a herd! Not long after they all met Capper and Soarin.
 
 
Capper and Soarin
 
Cap and Soarin met purely at random. Soarin retired early from the Wonderbolts to work as a police officer in Ponyville. He had a soft spot for animals confiscated by his department and really dedicating his time to rehoming animals. This is how he met both Fluttershy but more importantly, Capper. After meeting the Main Six, Capper decided to move to Equestria. He started out as a pet groomer as he had a eye for style and it was a booming market! However, he started working with the PV-SPCA [PV=Ponyville] in a few cruelty cases. He couldn’t help but feel bad for the various animals being stuck in cages, struggling to heal from their trauma.  
Capper kept noticing a particularly flirty blue winged copper constantly visiting the PV-SPCA with and without pets. Soarin saw a handsome specimen and desperately wanted his number. Cap was disinterested at first, but still was equally flirty for the fun. However after seeing Soarin cry over an injured mouse, Capper grew fond of him and cleverly nicknamed him “Mouse”.  
The two started dating and eventually met and joined Fluttershy’s herd. Capper viewed the alliance as financially advantageous at first, but soon was won over by his emotional pony-kirin lovers.
 
The Five
 
As a herd, the five are very powerful. Fluttershy is a teacher, veterinarian and animal researcher. Zecora is a veterinarian and a plant/fungus researcher. Fen is Kirin Diplomate beside Autumn Blaze. Soarin is a Police Sergeant and Capper is a house-dad! They are an extremely lovey-dovey herd and have raised 5 kids together. While they are open to experiences they aren’t adding anymore members as they are all happy together!
