keep in mind some of the pics in this set are older than others, but nonetheless, figured it was time to upload them (i’ll probably upload a few today, then a few later, etc) – basically i gave myself a challenge of imagining the mane 7 as canon SU gem types or variations, complete with the canon SU body types / attempted style emulation.
 
and here is Sunset Sapphire! in all honesty, “sunset sapphire” is just another name for more red Padparascha sapphires, but considering rubies and sapphires in the SU world are different gems, i figure it’s fine to stretch things a bit.
 
keep in mind this crossover AU is basically a complete replacement of the Crystal Gems / Steven with the Mane 7 (Harmony Gems) & Spike – who, in this AU, is also a half gem, but not, as one might assume, the child of Twilight! you’ll see when he’s uploaded
