Id heard about Mr. Rogers before: about his wonderful personality, incredible humility, and dedication to education. While I did respect those qualities, I always felt the praise Mister Rogers Neighborhood received from older audiences was merely the product of charming nostalgia.
But then I found myself watching this one clip where ol Cardigan man was talking about divorce. And I swear it was like he was speaking right at me. He was telling me like, how it wasnt my fault that my parents got divorced. And that my parents still loved me. I never really talked about it to anyone before, guess I sorta kept everything bottled up inside. And I dunno man, something about the way he said it it just got to me, you know?
Im not sure what kinda strange hippie power that dude had, but I think the world needs more of it.
