Queen Novo is not to thrilled about the reality of her reverting back to a seapony after a few hours as a hippogriff due to her family’s cruse for getting the magical ability to transform between being a seapony and hippogriff.
 
When Queen Novo and Princess Skystar were back at Mt. Aris when Queen Novo sensed she was going to turn back into a seapony she would fly down to the water and change into a seapony.
 
But when her daughter Princess Skystar sneaks off to tour the human world with the human cruise ship passengers that stop at Seapony Cay and Mount Aris.  
At the end of the day Queen Novo reverts back to being a seapony which results in her having to spend the night in a bath tub as a seapony.  
Naturally Queen Novo spends the rest of the night angry at her daughter Princess Skystar and her cruse of not being able to be a hippogriff all the time.
