Limestone and Pinkie enjoying some quality time together having a chat. I really love the small expansion on their relationship in the Mud Briar episode. For awhile it seemed Pinkie’s entire family just didn’t really like to have her around, and the support from her sisters was really quite touching. And poor Limestone, I know how you feel about that boyfriend girl.
I’d really love to see an episode where Pinkie has a day with one of her other sisters before the series ends, I’d love to see a bit further into their dynamic (does Pinkie have some sort of “twin sense” with Marble?)
Filly Derpy, only a few months before her eyes became permanently crossed. I wonder what happened to this poor pony - we can see her clearly in one episode in the hospital as a teen after eye surgery.
I could go on and on about what a wonderful character Derpy has been made into.
Unnnnggg the parent map gave me so much shippinnng fuuueeeeeel. Seriously these guys are like practically married already.
Wasn’t crazy about the episode, but Punk Rarity is just such a cool design. I had fun doing her new hair.

Chiffon Swirl had heard the whispering since this morning. She’d heard ponies talking somberly amongst themselves as she slogged her way through the flooded town.A horrendous rainstorm had made its way over from the Everfree forest. The pegasi had finally managed to drive it back, but only after it had flooded Ponyville. Thank heaven it was confined to the roads, and the buildings had minimal damage.
But what confused Chiffron most as she made her way back from the market, was how everypony whispered and spoke in low tones. A few even cast a glance at her, wearing grave expressions. Chiffon grew steadily uncomfortable until her ear pricked back, picking up a few bits of conversation she passed.
“Poor children…just had a new daughter…”
“…be orphans if it wasn’t for…”
“Flooding…sounded like…nothing they could do…”
“…Sweet Apple Acres…”
Wait a minute! Sweet Apple Acres? Orphans!? Flooding!? Chiffon felt an icy chill suddenly overcome her. Those words just kept racing through her mind as she galloped towards her confectionery/home. Her saddlebags thumped against her heaving sides as she struggled to keep the tears from falling.
No, this just couldn’t be! Those ponies had to be mistaken, misinformed. Sweet Apple Acres had dealt with floods before, much worse than the one last night! But they were so much closer to the Everfree…they would have bore the brunt of the storm.
But Bright Mac and Buttercup were incredibly resourceful. There was no way anything had happened to the two. She just saw Buttercup two days ago, visiting her newborn daughter, and bringing Little Macintosh and Jacqueline some sweets. There was no way…
Without bothering to take off her muddy boots, Chiffon burst through the front door. All she needed to do was deposit the groceries so they wouldn’t slow her down, then she was running right back to Sweet Apple Acres. She was going to see that the Apples were just fine and prove them all wrong…
Her magenta eyes immediately fell upon the two stallions standing beside the counter. The two turned to look at her, and she felt that horrible, icy chill again. Her new husband, Carrot, wore a melancholy expression, green eyes brimming with tears. The other stallion, dark grey with light hair, stood before him. His young son sat quietly between his legs, munching on some gummy worms and keeping him to himself. Burnt Oak’s red eyes were glistening.
“No…Oak, no, it can’t be…” Chiffon whispered, feeling the tears escape her eyes and fall down her cheeks.
“Chiffon,” the lumber stallion began quietly. “Its Buttercup…”
