yo I found you through the teen Titans as ponies art and THEY’RE SO CUTE!! I like how robin is an Earth pony but I wondered if you considered him being a pegasus considering dick grayson’s an acrobat. or is pony robin an extremely agile pony?

hiya! i’m happy you like the titan ponies!

i’m aware that dick’s an acrobat, which is why i’m pretty set on him being an earth pony. the impressive thing about acrobats is how they can “fly” without actually being able to fly. robin only reached his level of skill with acrobatics/martial arts/whatever through years of training and hard work, just like his mentor. i felt that having wings would brush over everything he’d achieved to get to that point without crutches to rely on.

horse robin might not have wings, or a magic unicorn horn, or whatever we might consider “superpowers”– but he’s still a hero, and proof that earth ponies are cool too :)

(also if he had wings, starfire wouldn’t have as much of an excuse to carry him)
