Rarity is best pony. It might have taken me three seasons to come to that conclusion, but it was three seasons well spent building what is arguably the most 3 dimensional character of the show. And my friends… I love her. I really, REALLY love Rarity. This is one of those rare occasions where I throw my hands into the air and admit flat out that there is a character in a show that I like to the point of claiming her as a waifu. God I feel dirty just saying that word, but damn it all if it ain’t true! I love the way her GORGEOUS purple hair curls around in such an intricate manner. I love the way she talks and how she can go from prim and proper to almost psychotic. I love how freaking clever she is and how she’s not above being sarcastic or telling a joke. And I LOVE how much of an artist she is! Not just in the visual department with her drawings and dresses, oh no, she’s got the musical and acting chops of a typical broadway performer! If it’s revealed that she also likes to write in season 5, it may just blow ALL of my mind! What else can I say? She’s beautiful, she’s talented, she’s good hearted without being saintly, and I’d do just about anything to give her a great big reality destroying hug! She is my favourite character in all of My little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
