However, when Laura’s new version of the ponies with magical friendship lessons finally hit the airwaves, it turned out to be much more successful and popular than expected, particularly, oddly enough, with the Teen to Adult Male demographic. This cult that worship her new show continued to grow and grow and grow until it was a borderline religion. And Laura now ended up having to deal with those ponies and their disturbingly obsessive fans everywhere she went, to the point where they’re the only thing she’s associated with anymore, and none of the other cartoons she worked on are even mentioned.
Because of this, Laura ends up coming to despise her own creation, wishing nothing but death upon it and to erase it from existence, as she can’t seem to get away from it or what fans, executives, writers and animators are doing with it, even after she resigned as the showrunner. As a result, she goes completely batshit insane. :evillaugh:
NOTE: This was done only for the sake of Cartoonish comedy and satirical hyperbole, I’m sure the REAL Lauren Faust is nothing like this. I’m a brony myself and a fan of Lauren Faust, but didn’t the great Mel Brooks say you have to like what you parody in order to properly understand it?
