Forrest’s Elbow, also known as Turn 18, is one of the slowest sections of the famous Mount Panorama Racing Circuit in Bathurst, NSW.
The last tight corner before to fast Con-rod Straight, Forrest’s Elbow got its name from motorcycle race Jack Forrest who scraped his elbow away after coming of his bike on this corner.
Having had a hotlap around this track for a 21st birthday gift, I can tell you, the amount of G’s you get on the brakes into and in this turn, it’s amazing the cars can carry as much speed as they do.
