Story in the source:
“Hey. Looked like you wanted to dance.”
Rainbow stared into eyes that wouldn’t look back as she held out her hand. Pinkie’s sister had been standing just on the edge of the dance floor for half an hour, not quite inside or out. Her body swayed from side to side to the beat, and her eyes hopped from pony to pony. As her eyes alone danced among the crowd, every so often, her face cracked a smile, and she stood up straight as if ready to move, but each time, she slowly relaxed and pulled back.
It was when Rainbow realized she’d been staring at this pony all night that she decided to introduce herself. This one was Marble, right?
But Marble still didn’t look back, still didn’t say a word. Rainbow held her hand steady, waiting for an answer.
“Am I wrong?”
For a moment, there was nothing. And then, Marble’s back straightened again, and her hand lifted from her side.
She took Rainbow’s hand, met Rainbow’s eyes, and they didn’t part for the rest of the evening.
