Thunderlane had thought going into space was the adventure of a lifetime. He imagined visiting new worlds and helping spread Equestrian ideals of friendship far and wide. Never in his wildest dreams did he imagine his ship being overrun by giant, rubber-like creatures who looked like ponies, who demolished the hallways and the rooms as they went after the crew, gobbling them up one after the other, ignoring the screams of their prey as they were all swallowed whole and alive.
 
Thunderlane had fought hard. He had tried to hide, had done everything he could to survive, but it wasn’t enough. He had been captured, and now he, too, was being gobbled up, and there was nothing he could do to escape the unspeakably strong mouth and stomach muscles pulling him in.
 
Thirty seconds later, and the creature that had eaten Thunderlane belched and walked off to wait in the ship’s shadows until its companions had eaten the rest of the crew. As it went, it felt its meal struggling inside its stomach, but paid it no heed as internal tendrils went to work immobilizing its meal for what was to come.
