Happy 12-21-12, guys! Better yet, happy ‘Doomsday’!
 
 
Well, people, today is 12-21-12…and the world did NOT end. I actually made this the day before because a majority of us didn’t believe the world was going to end. Not by a longshot.
 
Okay, I admit, I was a LITTLE intimidated by the thought, but I kept a firm grasp in my beliefs and wanted to treat this day like any other day. But with a Christmas rush.
 
Yesterday when I wondered what I could draw to make as a ‘tribute’ to this particular date, I kept listening to music and watching Robot and Monster . Of course, I was listening to Jay Sean’s 2012 song “Party Like It’s the End of the World”.
 
Thanks to my good friend and fellow RnM fan , after our fun discussions about a certain RnM character, Arpa DeFault, I just KNEW she would be perfect for such a picture, especially for this date. I still remember when I created a tribute to the date ‘12-12-12’ with Ogo and Rigby from Regular Show! [link]
 
This is my second time drawing Arpa. And she couldn’t be prettier. [link]
 
And, let’s face it, a majority of MLP FIM fans consider Derpy as best pony. Of course, some prefer Rainbow Dash or even Fluttershy, but as one of the GREATEST background characters on the show, I just HAD to draw her!
 
For any RnM fan who saw the Robot and Monster Christmas special ‘Baconmas’, I just LAUGHED OUT LOUD during the scene where Arpa and the rest of the DeFault family were suffering in agony from hearing Robot, Monster, and Monster’s family singing Baconmas carols, especially ‘The 193 Days of Baconmas’. As an anti-fan of ‘The 12 Days of Christmas’, I can somewhat relate, but 193 days? I’m out of there!
 
And I wondered that if Derpy ever sang in MLP FIM…and Arpa had to suffer worse than Baconmas carols…
