This is a collection of test pictures I made over a couple of days to test out a new style and method of drawing. In the past I’ve often been too held up by trying to make everything fully “accurate” and perfect, and it’s held me back a lot when it comes to my motivation. These sketches were drawn in a quicker way to see what parts of the face I naturally focus on - turns out, much to my shock, that giant muzzles aren’t a thing my pencil enjoys drawing - giant eyes and Heir of Rick ears are the way to go, it seems.
 
Much as I expected, Rainbow’s mane has gotten messier every time I’ve drawn her so far :3
