It’s been a while since my last vector, and I honestly didn’t expect to make more of these. But I really needed to make at least one for this episode. It was so good. It was nice to see an episode written by someone who actually knew the characters and their story. It was nice to see an episode where other ponies loved Dash for once instead of treating her like garbage. It was nice to see Dash realizing her mistake, sorting everything out, and getting forgiven instead of acting stubbornly OOC just to give an incompetent writer an excuse to punish her again. In sum, it was nice to see an episode where Dash was a character and not the butt of an unfunny joke. On top of it, minor quirks aside, Rainbow Dash’s parents were fantastic, and getting the most touching Scootalove moment after Sleepless in Ponyville was simply amazing.

Parental Glideance may not be perfect, but after a really weak season that I’d rather forget, with a few episodes that I legitimately hate, I’m really happy to see that the show still can have some great episodes that remind me why I loved it.
