Guest Author’s Note: One person’s failure is another person’s success. Actually, this happened to me during one of my attempts to DM a game for a day. Though I shouldn’t be surprised considering how things usually go off the deep end for me in any game. Still, everyone had fun and that’s what’s important in the end, right?

THE NEXT DAY
Applejack: Hey Twilight, how’s it-… OK, what happened?
Twilight Sparkle: It was a complete disaster! I completely screwed it up!
Applejack: OK Twilight, you best start from the beginning.
Twilight Sparkle: Well I started off with Applebloom and Luna going to help save a town from monsters. Then I randomly picked some monsters and threw them in. It worked well for a little bit. Then thing got a little out of control. …OK, things got a LOT out of control. I bet your sister hates me now for ruining her one session with Luna.
Applejack: Actually, she wouldn’t stop talking about how awesome the whole thing was.
Twilight Sparkle: …What?
