I FINALLY got around to making vectors of Shining Armor and Cadance and I updated my Flurry Heart template to be a tad bit more accurate.
 
As you can see, Shining’s got an epic manbeard now complete with a king’s crown and robe and he’s grown a bit taller, but not quite as tall as Cadance. Yes, Cadance has reached the same height as Celestia which is made evident in the Last Problem with Twilight’s eventual size she gets to. I changed up her regalia a bit too and made her hair flowy like Celestia and Luna and future Twilight.
 
Also, Shining Armor and Cadance are now referred to as “King” and “Queen”. I have this headcanon that in MLP, the royals in charge of a country/province don’t start going by king or queen until they bear child or the child has reached a certain age to avoid confusion as to why both the parents and children are prince/princess.
 
By the way, my “Flurry Heart’s Story” fanfic idea will start off with these three in the Crystal Empire being the main focus. They’ll send Flurry off to Ponyville much like Celestia did with Twilight in the beginning of the show, but the circumstances will be a bit different to avoid repetition.
