A colored version of my doodle dump from a million years ago (I think about a week or so). Honestly, I love how it turned out. It’s so cute… Quick background, I drew all this when I was working as a poll worker, so they are a bit random. The majority of them are based on my Dark Star AU, so don’t be too confused about it, folks.
 
1: The ponified version of Anansi, though he’s really a zebra. His name would be Anamnesis, which apparently means something along the lines of remembering past experiences or something. I like the name and thought it fit what with his talent for memory manipulation. Despite not being a pony, he does have a cutiemark, matching the bottles he hangs from his tree. (Another thing for me to draw later)
 
2: Anamnesis and Acheron hanging out. While Ash is a hulking behemoth compared to other ponies, he absolutely loves commenting on how small Ana is compared to him. Mostly cause Anansi is taller than Ash in his natural form. Anamnesis is unendingly pissed by how small he is.
 
3: A scene from my dark star AU, in which Sombra meets Cadence. He and Twilight used the mines (Where she and Cadence would have been trapped) to sneak into Canterlot. On the way there, the two find a wary and hurt Cadence. Twilight finds her disgusting, going so far as to call her soiled goods but Sombra is momentarily stumped by her beauty despite how dirty she is. Cadence is only half aware of what’s happening at this point.
 
4: Thoughtful Reflection, disguised as a regular and ‘proper’ royal. While he was granted sanctuary by Celestia after Chrysalis was killed, he still has to be very wary. While few know his true nature, he has to be very careful around his family. Cadence ignores him, most time looking through him whenever they talk. Shining scares him, since he knows what Shining has done to other changelings. It’s why he has this form to begin with. Celestia is the only one kind to him but the war keeps her busy. In the castle, it is a constant effort to remain unnoticed, lest he incur the wrath of his father, whom he knows no one will stop.
 
Note: the name he goes by in the castle is Frozen Heart, though he tries not to think too deeply into it.
 
5: Thoughful Reflection, after running away (taking a walk and getting lost, really). Outside the castle, he can relax and let loose without fear or reprisal. As such, he comes off as arrogant and loud. After walking on egg shells all his life, he longs to spread his wings and soar.
 
6: Thoughtful’s true form. Yes, he is a changeling. He is the son of Queen Chrysalis and Shining. Due to Twilight not being there to discover Chrysalis, she and Shining get married and has a child. While no one mentions it, it is a fact that Thoughtful is VERY aware of and tries to avoid. He generally dislikes his natural form since it reminds him of all that his family lost.
 
Note: I love to color’s I chose. It has a very cool (low temp) feel to it, like steam would come out his mouth on a hot day.
 
7: Despite his arrogance, Thoughtful is a gentlecolt so when he meets the ravishing Aurora Dawn, he introduces himself as any stallion of breeding would. It also helps that the mare is a major cutie in his eyes. But looming over them is the daunting foe and many a stallion fear most: The over-protective Nii-san!!
 
8: Daydreamer (third Quibbledash child) cornering Vasile (Trixie x bulk child) one day to get her to let Dee Dee draw her. So captivated by her beauty, Dee Dee forgot her nerves and posed like she was at a con to get the mares attention. While fascinated by Dee Dee’s flexibility, Vas is very confused as to why this mare keeps following her.
 
Note: Originally, I was going to have DD do a jojo pose but those look kind of painful, so I won’t put her through that.
 
9: Rawr (a bit of a story but one to tell at a later date.) cock-blocking Thoughtful and Aurora’s ‘moment’. Aurora is embarrassed while Thoughtful is annoyed. Rawr is just amused.
 
Note: Rawr, Thoughtful and Aurora are some of my MC’s in the Dark Star AU so you’ll get to know them later.
 
10, 11 & 12: More on Aurora Dawn AKA Magnesia (Maggie as her nii-sama calls her). She is a maid and a warrior, mostly cause her nii-sama likes to pick fights he either can’t win or refuses to ask for assistance. As such, she trained herself to be his back up when needed.
