I have no idea what happened. I really don’t. Over the weekend, I thought it’d be nice to get something floating in my head out in Word. Wasn’t supposed to be anything more than a drabble or flash fiction, really, regarding a vague idea.
 
And then suddenly that idea evolved and changed into something else as I was getting it down. And I kept typing. I’m up to about five pages.
 
Help me, I seem to be writing a fanfic I didn’t sign up for. …Or is it “fimfic”? I DON’T KNOW.

Whatever this runaway train is, it’s centered around Cadance and Shining Armor. Because I can’t seem to get enough of them. Who’s the little guy? I’m not 100% sure yet. He’s lurking about in my head, but he’s shy.The only thing I know for sure is that he’s a pegasus and very, very young. His tentative name is Rolling Thunder. Big name for a little colt, but… hey. Maybe he’ll grow into it.
 
Will the story see the light of day? Not sure. Right now it’s a hot mess of exposition. We’ll see. I haven’t written a proper fanfic in nearly a decade.
