Lazyness or lack of time? Probably the latter, honestly.

I’m pretty sure they had to make new puppets for the episode, but I guess it’s faster to use the regular base and delete the Cutie Mark than just make a new one from scratch.

The reason why Twi and Cadence look like crap is because I had to blow up the image from a 720p screencap, which honestly fuck me over like you wouldn’t believe.
