After the unsatisfactory turnout of plastic granulate melted on backing paper I found that using a silicone mat instead of the paper caused much less trouble (the black liner didn’t stick to the silicone nearly as much as it did to the backing paper). With Shining Armor and Cadence Day drawing closer I decided to try making a pendant of Shining Armor. White is a rather unpleasant color to work with when it comes to this granulate (you can see the troubles it causes when looking at Shining Armor’s eyes), so I made his coat of transparent rather than white granulate. I think I learned some more tricks while making this one and hope to come up with more complex pendants in the future.
